A note from our supplier: Pentylene Glycol has a zero listed hazard rating in Cosmetic Data Base and there are 23 published articles which provide interesting data and note studies done back in the 1970’s – in all of these, there was only one case listed of Dermatitis in Belgium and two cases in Cleveland, Ohio, in which the use of a topical cream containing Pentylene Glycol was suspected (not determined) to be the cause of the Dermatitis. www.ewg.org (Skin Deep Data Base) rates Pentylene Glycol as zero hazard. On www.goodguide.com it is listed as having no health concerns and is not on their list of hazardous ingredients. We use Pentylene Glycol only in our creams and lotions, which contain a higher water content and therefore need a proven strong preservative, and we consider it to be the safest and healthiest preservative currently available in the absence of a reliable natural preservative.
15 out of 16 people would recommend this product24/09/2018, By TanyaThis is a highly nourishing cream which hydrates and replenishes dry skin. It does not irritate sensitive skin and has a wonderful smell. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has an ultra dry skin.22/11/2017, By LvSMWorks well, even on my sensitive skin! Very happy. It’s a pity there is no spf, but maybe that’s a tough ask for an all-natural product.12/11/2017, By LvSMIt is moisturising with no allergic reactions or irritation. No spf unfortunately .22/09/2017, By TaniaAll the Victoria Gardens face creams are fantastic and this is my favourite day cream. During Autumn and winter my facial skin dries out pretty bad to flaking point and this cream keeps my skin moist and soft all day even underneath my makeup. I will definitely use this as my day cream from now on. Thanks Love it!25/09/2014, By ZoeThis product smells lovely and was great for dry skin (especially in winter) but unfortunately it resulted in my skin breaking out. I hoped this would go away once my skin was used to it but unfortunately it didn . But everyone else seems to love it so its worth a try if you have very dry skin.09/12/2011, By PremFabulous product that moisturises my dry skin perfectly. I struggled to make it absorb well though as it left a white powdery residue on my skin. I tried applying right after washing while my face is still damp and then it absorbs better and is very good.10/04/2011, By AlexaThis product is fantastic! It has such a nice soft buttery texture which seems to melt into my skin.
