It should not be expensive to put your “best foot” forward. Here are some easy, inexpensive and EARTH friendly recipes for homemade foot treatments.
Making home-made foot treatments is a wonderful thing to learn. You can be sure that you are only using the best ingredients, you can alter the recipe to suit your own personal taste, and when you have practiced a bit, you can make lovely gifts for people!
Foot Spray
Treat your feet to this tingly foot spray. The peppermint smells great and will revive tired feet in no time.

You Need:

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients and pour into a spray bottle.
  • Spray your feet and enjoy!
Foot Soak


You Need:

  • A bowl of water
  • 5 to 10 mint leaves
  • 1 cup of sea salt
  • 1 lemon or lime sliced and placed in the water

Instructions:

  • Let your feet soak for about 10 minutes and relax.
Foot Massage Oil

You Need:

  • 2 teaspoons of jojoba or extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 1 drop chamomile essential oil
  • 1 drop geranium essential oil

Instructions:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl and massage gently into your feet.
  • Put your feet up for sometime.
  • Wash your feet with a mild soap and apply nourishing cream on your feet.
Peppermint Foot Scrub

You Need:

Instructions:

  • Mix together ingredients. They can even be warmed just a bit in the microwave oven or you can soak your feet in warm water before application.
  • Apply the scrub to your feet, rubbing in a circular motion.
  • Rinse off with warm water!
