Veganuary: A 31-Day Challenge (+7 Recipes to Inspire You!)

January is one of those unique month’s in the year where we get to really push ourselves to set new goals, to try new things, to introduce a change that we want to see in ourselves, and even the world around us. And although I am not a fan of the notion of a “resolution” per say I do support the idea of some sort of a revolution – making the change – no matter how big or small – that will revolutionise your own life. 

Veganuary just happens to be one of those revolutionary ideas that anyone can adopt. 

A 31-day program that guides you through the misconceptions, misunderstandings and challenges around changing your eating habits for the better. And why do we love this movement so much? Like any other “challenge”, Veganuary gives you a finish line; it rewards you for your discipline and at the end of it all it gives you a sense of accomplishment. 

And luckily, there are people out there who have made this easier than ever. Launched in January 2014 Veganuary has gained global recognition, their vision is simple – they want a world where “animal farms and slaughterhouses don’t exist, where food production doesn’t decimate forests, pollute rivers and oceans, exacerbate climate change, and drive wild animal populations into extinction.” Any of this sounds appealing to you?
