Make your Own Ayurvedic Teas

Simple Digestive Tea

The mild blend of coriander, cumin and fennel is one of the simplest and most popular Ayurvedic teas. It stimulates the circulation, improve digestion, reduce water retention and flush out the urinary tract.

 

Boil the water and add the seeds and herbs. Allow to steep for 5 minutes, then strain and serve. Sweeten with honey if desired.

Spicy Lemon Weight Loss Tea

This warming tea will boost your metabolism and stimulate the digestive system. Helps to detox the blood by flushing out excess bile.

 

Juice the lemon and add to hot water. Stir in remaining ingredients. For best results, drink a cup first thing in the morning, ideally 30min before a meal.

Magical Masala Chai Tea

This is a wonderfully calming, sweet and spicy tea full of ingredients that help with digestion and circulation.

 

Boil the water and spices, then add the tea and boil for 2 minutes. Add milk and simmer on a low flame. Sweeten with honey, strain and serve.
