I think it must be the tee tree oil. I have been using this charcoal soap as part of my annual detox program. The main ingredient I was after is the charcoal which I know tends to draw out toxins from the body. After using it my skin feels squeaky clean. Since I have started using this soap I have received comments that my skin looks good. I would highly recommend this to somebody with dry skin who needs something that cleanses yet moisturizes and hydrates the skin.

This is great- helps a lot with body odour. The harsh particles are a bit difficult to deal with so I cannot use the bar directly on my skin but on a washcloth or sponge it's great. it does leave my skin a bit dry, but extremely clean and after using it for a while now, I have gone completely roll-on free. I wish the harsh beads were a little less so that i can lather the bar all over my body. Works well as a face wash too.
