After-School Tropical Treat Trail Mix
This delicious, energy-boosting mix of dried fruits and nuts is packed with potassium, protein, calcium, magnesium and fibre.
- 1½cup coconut flakes
- 1cup almonds
- 1cup cashew nuts
- 1cup dried banana (chopped into bite-sized pieces)
- ½cup dried dates, chopped
- ½cup dried mango, chopped
- ½cup dried pineapple, chopped
Family Movie Night Trail Mix
So much better than crisps and candy – this is a magical movie night snack with a hint of sweetness and spice.
- 1cup organic popcorn, popped
- ¼tsp cinnamon
- ¼cup sunflower seeds
- ¼cup pumpkin seeds
- 2/3cup raw almonds
- 1/3cup dried cranberries
- ½cup dried apricots, diced
The Anytime, Anyday PB&J Trail Mix
Yum! Recreate the taste of that old-school favourite, the peanut butter and jelly sandwich, without the carbs or gluten. A great source of protein and vitamin C.
It’s easy to make your own peanut butter chips for this tasty trail mix:
- Mix your peanut butter with a little agave and melted coconut oil
- Pour the mixture into a baking tray and leave it in the freezer overnight
- Slice it up and enjoy!
