Top 10 Beauty Tips

Extend your beauty routine down to your chest, to the backs of your hands and to the tops of your feet! The skin is thin in these areas and so they are a give-away for signs of ageing or lack of care so it’s a good idea to treat them as you would your face.
Exfoliation is key! Everyone’s skin is different but I would recommend using a body scrub every second day and a facial exfoliator once a week. Gently use a cloth to help remove your cleanser as well. Exfoliation will keep your skin smooth and will allow your moisturiser to work more effectively.
Use Organic Skin Care products. A recent study in Japan proved that chemicals age the skin. The purer the products you use, the better.
Cold water is cool. Use cold water to rinse you hair as hot water can dry out your scalp. You should also rinse your face in cold water after cleansing it (fair-skinned people should use cool instead of cold), as this will close your pores and tighten your facial muscles.
Facial massages are fast and simple to do at home, and can really help to keep elasticity in the skin and keep wrinkles and fine lines at bay. A facial massage helps to get the blood flow and circulation going in the facial area, which automatically stimulates the skin and helps to keep it renewed and rejuvenated. Your skin will retain far more of its natural elasticity with regular massaging, which in turn can help to slow down the signs of aging. You can carry out a five minute massage as you moisturise each night by blending your night cream into your skin using firm upward motions from the throat up. Once the cream has been absorbed into the skin, use circular motions over your face to really blend it in and to get the circulation going.
Put your lip and eye pencils in the refrigerator before sharpening. They’re less likely to break – and you won’t waste as much.
Lighten your smile this year with strawberries! The secret to this inexpensive home teeth whitening method is malic acid, which acts as an astringent to remove surface discoloration. Combined with baking soda, strawberries become a natural tooth-cleanser, buffing away stains from coffee, red wine, and dark sodas – the perfect last minute trick to that winning smile. Just crush a strawberry into a pulp, mix it with ½ a teaspoon of baking powder and leave on your teeth for 5 minutes! Once a week will do the trick!
If you are unhappy with a hair conditioner, it will still make a great “shaving cream” for your legs in the shower. On that note, when shaving, don’t stretch the skin or you could cause ingrown hairs by shaving hair off slightly under the skin. .
Use your hairbrush carefully as constant hard brushing weakens and wears out the hair strands. It can also lead to split ends and scratched scalps.
Finally, sunburnt or sun damaged skin is out – completely out. It is just not worth it. If you are going into the sun, slip on a hat, and slap on some sunscreen.
