Cleansing Cranberry Smoothie

  • ½ cup cranberries
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • 1 sweet red apple, peeled & chopped
  • ½ cup juice of a fresh orange
  • ½ cup cold filtered water
  • 5 ice cubes

Spinach is a nutritional powerhouse and is extremely alkalising. It’s abundant in vitamins C, K, A and B2, as well as calcium and potassium. Cranberry is rich in antioxidants, and cranberry juice is known for helping to prevent urinary tract infections and kidney stones.


Alkalising Cucumber Smoothie

  • ½ cucumber, sliced
  • 1 green apple, peeled & chopped
  • ½ cup cold filtered water
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 5 ice cubes

Cucumbers are a very alkalising food with exceptionally high water content (around 95%). It’s a good source of vitamins C and K, plus it’s rich in alkaline minerals, including calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, selenium and zinc.


Golden Ginger Smoothie

  • 1 cup juice of a fresh orange
  • 1 sweet yellow apple, peeled & chopped
  • 1tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • 5 ice cubes

Ginger reduces inflammation and helps to balance blood sugar levels. The pectin (soluble fibre) in apples helps to lower cholesterol, and also promotes a healthy balance of intestinal bacteria.
