What? One teaspoon of Mega Omega Fish Oil contains 1 600 mg of omega 3 fatty acids – mainly DHA and EPA.
What else?
The Real Thing Mega Omega Fish Oil:
Is produced in Reykjavik, Iceland
Is produced from wild fish caught off the Peruvian coast.
The following has not been added to Mega Omega Fish Oil:- Antioxidants
- Colourants
- Preservatives
FACT:If you think our oceans are clean, that's rubbish. Many of them are toxic dumping grounds for heavy metals and environmental waste. If the fish are exposed to this chemical soup, then so are the fish oils they yield.
No wonder a 2004 report by the United States Pharmacopoeia found that some fish oil supplements are purer than others.
Mega Omega fish oil is mega-safe because it's mega-pure:- First it's molecularly distilled to remove impurities, pollutants and toxins.
- It's also produced in a GMP and HACCP compliant facility, meaning the manufacturing meets Good Manufacturing Practice and Hazard Control and Critical Analysis standards.
- Plus it's certified pharmaceutical-grade, meaning it's produced under the meticulous EU standards governing production of prescription medication.
DirectionsTake 1 to 1,5 teaspoons (5 ml – 7.5 ml) daily with food or consult your healthcare practitioner.
Some out-of the-bottle ideas:A spoonful of fish oil doesn’t have to go down like medicine. Try these easy recipes.
- Drizzle it. Add balsamic vinegar and a teaspoon of Mega Omega oil (lemon or natural) over a salad of your choice with crushed rock salt and mixed herbs. Great with tuna, seafood or roasted veg salad.
- Mix it. Stir a dose of lemon or natural Mega Omega oil into a serving of any stir-fry, pasta or seafood dish – after the cooking process if the meal is hot
NOTE: There have been some reports that increased bleeding can occur if excessive omega 3 doses (usually more than 3 000mg) are taken by patients who are also on blood-thinning medications like aspirin or warfarin. These reports have been disputed. Consult your health care practitioner.

13/04/2021, By LisaI tried taking this on its own and just couldn't get past the overwhelming taste, so now I just add it to my food. I've also been giving it to my dog every evening on his food, and his coat has drastically changed and is much, much softer than it's ever been before. He goes crazy when I open the bottle, and even comes back to lick the spoon after . We're on the second bottle now.22/01/2021, By PaulSo far this is working well. I take 7.5 ml per day right before supper. The taste is mild but it does help eating something afterwards.
Would buy again.20/10/2020, By JoleneLove it. So far it has the highest rating of EPA and DHA I've come across. Can sometimes smell or taste it, but don't really mind it.12/06/2020, By NicoleNot Bad. My kids don't mind the taste.. I don't have to hide it in smoothies etc16/04/2020, By CarmiFor me omega3 in liquid is the only way, I can't drink the huge tablets. So in this way it is convenient. The taste though is not so good for me. Should expected it as it is not flavoured. I use loads of The Real Thing products and they are great value for money. Would het the flavoured one next time.
02/03/2020, By AnzetVery surprised at all the reviews saying it doesn't have a fishy taste. I bought it because of all the favorable reviews.
The fishy taste is so overwhelming that it's hard to take. I currently chase it with orange juice - mixing it didn't work well. Ruined good smoothies trying to add it in so as not to taste the fish.
Will not buy it again, and not convinced I'm going to be able to finish it before it expires. It might be a personal thing, but will go back to capsules.05/09/2019, By JaneI use this as a supplement for my cats, which I add to their raw food. Very happy with it. For human use I would recommend capsule form though, it is pretty fishy06/08/2018, By AngeliqueI've only just started supplementing with this product. I find the taste a little fishy but overall its not hard to get down. Will have to wait and see its effects.01/08/2018, By CherieFantastic product with the most exceptional results, I can honestly recommend it, either in liquid or capsule form.24/07/2018, By AvaLove this oil, well priced for such a great product, and really easy to just add to your morning porridge with no fishy after taste.08/10/2017, By TraceyAlthough it did work for me, personally I do better on capsules so opted for those from the same company.22/08/2017, By EmmaI like the packaging and the info included on it, it is very fishy though even though it states 'Odourless - No fishy aftertaste'.06/07/2017, By CherieMy 15 year old Jack Russell is showing signs of early renal failure, after much research I discovered that giving her super-concentrated Omega 3 fish oils helps her kidney's to function better; she was diagnosed just over a year ago and she is doing fantastic on these oils, just 1/2 a teaspoon a day over her food. I give it to my other dogs as well and it keeps them all healthy and in tip top condition with very shinny coats.20/06/2015, By DarylTHIS is a WONDERFUL PRODUCT! Having suffered 6 Myocardial Infarctions, I have FELT an ENORMOUS IMPROVEMENT in my Health and that after only a weeks use of the product!!!
