Directions
Apply a small amount to your child’s toothbrush. Brush in the morning and night, after meal times. If possible spit and rinse; safe if accidentally swallowed.

Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is approved by ECOCERT, and is also approved in the new COSMOS organic standard.
The ingredient is sulphate-free, it is not processed with ethylene oxide or 1,4dioxane, and has a good sensitivity rating.
The Cosmetics Database finds Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate to be a moderate hazard ingredient, primarily because of its potential to be contaminated with nitrosamine (a known carcinogen) and because of its classification as a penetration enhancer.
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate should not be used in cosmetics and personal care products in which N-nitroso compounds may be formed (CosmeticsInfo.org).
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is not expected to be potentially toxic or harmful, and has a low oral toxicity. It is not found to be mutagenic, irritating or sensitizing, although it may enhance the penetration of other ingredients through the skin which is a good or a bad thing depending on what other ingredients it is mixed with.
It has an EWG rating – the rating is 3/10, primarily due to data gaps.

I hate to say it, considering the number of positive reviews this product has gotten. But after 3 years of using this product, my sons teeth do not look good at all! I've started using another brand, and have been noticing the plaque going away slowly... will have to take my 4 year old in for a proper cleaning to the dentist. Bought this for my sister too, and shes changed back to fluoride toothpaste long ago.
