07/01/2026, By ChrisI took this as a Triburyin source to attempt to repair my sensitive gut lining. Even with a meal and a full glass it water it caused quite a bad flare after a few days. It left me with a burning, gnawing pain in my stomach that took a few days to calm down after stopping this supplement. This form far less bitter / acidic and smelly then regular Butyrate (which is why I bought it), however it seems quite irratating to a sensitive gut, so be careful if you have ulcers, gastritis etc.
I might try it again in future as it is scientifically very promising to provide SCFA to heal your gut, however would likely suggest mixing it in with something alkaline like banana, milk, baking soda concoction and then eating it with a meal.03/08/2025, By KayMy holy grail.
