Did you know: Irradiation is often used to sterilise foods, herbs and spices, damaging the nutritional and healing value as well as compromising their safety. It breaks up cells, creates free radicals, and damage vitamins and enzymes. Irradiating food can damage anything from 5% up to 80% of many sensitive vitamins and can even leave traces of radiation in the food.
