- Essentially Natural Aloe Vera Liquid-Gel is pressed from the leaf of the Aloe Vera plant. It is an exceptionally versatile cosmetic ingredient and is often used to replace some or all of the water component in skincare formulas. Aloe Vera liquid gel is very gentle and can sooth sunburn, itching, and symptoms of problem skin such as redness and irritation. Aloe Vera can be added to creams, lotions, shampoos and other DIY cosmetic products.
- Note that this is a liquid and does not have a gel-like consistency like fresh plant matter (which can't be properly preserved and therefore is not safe for use after a few days). It can be thickened into a viscous by incorporating a gelling agent.

I bought it because it has minimal ingredients and the price is nice. It absorbs easily into my skin and my skin felt lovely afterwards.
