Changing Lives Through Maternal Care
Women and children in SA suffer the highest burden of poverty and stunting, with added cause for concern when we look at our maternal and infant mortality statistics. Further contributing to this crisis is food insecurity, substance abuse, limited access to health care, and a lack of education when it comes to taking care of an infant.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with Amy Ayanda, Elana Esterhuyse, and FEAT. Sock Co. to create our very first Artist’s Collection. It’s a tangible way for us to support local artists and designers while improving the lives of mothers and children through a powerful charity called The Zoe Project.

Getting to Know Amy Ayanda
Like us, Amy Ayanda is inspired by the natural world - as a multi-talented artist and creative, she uses inspiration from local landscapes to create art that tells a story about longing, belonging, and coming home.
Beyond the craft, she’s a mother who is closely tied to her Hessiqua heritage and the women before her in her family. When it comes to living sustainably, Amy believes in finding a process that brings you joy, so that you never see it as a chore.
