It is quite bitter to have as a traditional matcha drink. If you have tasted higher quality matcha from Japan you will notice the taste quality difference immediately. I can only use this in smoothies now with added honey to mask the bitterness. I bought this on the good reviews. I have been wanting to try this tea powder for so long, and it lives up to my expectations. Its strong, so half a teaspoon is enough. I feel energized, and it helped me recover quickly from flu because its so high in antioxidants. . This will be a regular purchase. High quality too.

1/4t ground organic turmeric
1/4t ground organic cinnamon
1/4t ground organic ginger
2 pinches of black pepper
Raw organic honey (to taste)
Mix and drink!
Excellent for the immune system and weight loss.

Reminds me of the ceremonial grade matcha I enjoyed for the first time in Japan: it has that perfect sweet grassy finish after the initial bitter (but not too bitter) hit of the tea, and the clumps dissolve better than other matcha tea I've found locally, especially if you shake it up in a jar with a tight-fitting lid with water around 75-80 degrees. Perfect frothy crema, no lumps. Yum!
