Front label reads:
1000mg
90 vegan capsules
This leads one to believe that the bottle contains 90 x 1000mg capsules.
The serving guidelines on the back of the bottle reveal that one should take 3 x 333mg capsules daily to obtain the dose of 1000mg.
The front label is misleading and the product is not as cost effective as front label alludes to it being.
Usually L-Lysine products are sold as either a single 1000mg tablet or capsule. With this product one needs to swallow 3 x capsules which is not pleasant.
I would not purchase again for these reasons.
I cannot fault the product itself, the quality seems fine.01/05/2025, By HelenaReasonably priced. I assume the L-Lysine is doing its job, as I haven't had recurring cold sores.
