15/09/2024, By MarindaThese are literally the most horrendous of all the banting, low carb baked products I’ve tried. Rancid, stale coconut. Just awful.13/02/2024, By A.J.Glad it is baning free, but not too tasty23/09/2023, By NancyI can only eat sugar free, gluten free, however, the rusks are slightly dry but delicious and coconuty, I love coconut, dunked in tea and they are just perfect.19/09/2023, By GerhardI have tried many different kinds of sugar-free rusks, and are always open to explore and find new kinds. Thewe were, in my opinion, unfortunately simply inedible. I have opened the first packet with two risks, ate half of a rusk, and then gave the rest to my dogs (who were also not overly excited). The same applies to this producer's other sugar-free rusks.
I did like the packaging though, but that is unfortunately not enough.25/06/2023, By MarneI need to state first that this review is not to be regarded as negative - I am extremely grateful for everyone who bakes low carb products as I desperately need it! Yet, my review is intended as constructive feedback in the hopes that this might be improved so that I can buy 5 packs at a time. I have never tasted anything worse than these rusks - I am not sure what the problem is but it really tastes terrible18/06/2023, By MarneI am very grateful for people and companies who have tthhe courage to make banting food and try new recipes to give us banters nice things to eat. So this review is not entitled as negative criticism but rather a shonest and constructive feedback. I bought a whole box full of atuff from you and all the reat is good, but these buttermilk rusks must be the most foul tasting thing I have eaten in my life. I am not sure if my box is just ‘off’ or something but I took only one bite and ya…. It’s really really bad29/04/2021, By MariskaOne of the best gluten free options available. I will definitely buy again.13/04/2021, By MeganVery yummy but each rusk is individually wrapped in plastic which was a bit much04/04/2021, By BeverleyThese risks are really very tasty! Will definitely buy more of them.25/12/2020, By Vaw001Lovely flavour. Maybe some of the dessicated coconut should be replaced with coconut flour to give a better texture?22/10/2020, By PortiaThese are one of my favorite rusks; they go so well with almond milk and even alone because they are not too tough to chew but also not too flaky.22/09/2020, By AllisonCould be very delicious I suppose but I made the error of not reading all the ingredients and all I can taste is desiccated coconut. No other flavour.
If you like desiccated coconut you will more than likely enjoy these.10/09/2020, By DuanéVery happy with the purchase! Tastes great! Thank you Faithful to Nature for always providing the best goods xx18/08/2020, By MarietjieI think these could be addictive. Don't think I will ever feel happy with other kind of rusks again. WOW. Thanks FTN13/06/2020, By CarlaDelicious! Wish they were a tiny bit more sweet, but they are yummy!09/06/2020, By ForchyThey are lovely if you like a coconut taste. My dad enjoyed them I unfortunately didn't really like them as much because I'm not a fan of coconut but I would recommend to others.03/06/2020, By CherThey are okay, not the worst tasting but there is definitely a mislead on the flavour as it tastes purely of cococnut - too much coconut for a rusk.22/05/2020, By MarzThe low carb content for this product is what really makes it great! You must enjoy coconut to enjoy this buttermilk rusk, but it is perfect for a quick snack and one is quite filling on its own!08/05/2020, By B GideonI add these to my basket every month now, they are so delicious. About R20 cheaper at a SPARcific retail store though.26/04/2020, By BDelishous, prefect with a good cup of coffee. Wish they cost a little less.22/04/2020, By karenI was very suprised at this product due to it being very sweet04/04/2020, By BuzI love love love love love these. They have a coco-nutty texture and a gentle sweetness that doesn't leave an aftertaste. Def getting these again.29/03/2020, By SophiaVery nice, filling and guilt-free when craving a sweet banting- friendly breakfast treat06/02/2020, By Alisonvery nice if craving something sweet to dunk. I found them very sweet but enjoyed with coffee, hubby just started Keto and loves them.. which is amazing due to the fact that he doesn't like different things.17/01/2020, By crispsI actually liked these rusks, they are more coconutty than buttermilk so if you don't like coconut, don't get them. I loved the taste and it's a good alternative to normal rusks if you're banting and are craving something carby.12/11/2019, By LindyQuite tasty, enjoyed the coconut flavor that came through. Would choose it as a healthy alternative to regular rusks12/11/2019, By CFGI have tried several low carbohydrate rusks and this is the only one that beats them all!!25/09/2019, By MichelleTasty alternative to normal rusks, but the coconut can be a bit overwhelming - I prefer the choc chip biscuits in this range.26/06/2019, By CarolineLovely hard rusk without any seeds, which makes a change. More reasonably priced than a lot of other brands too. Does taste very much of coconut and I couldn’t taste the buttermilk but unless you don’t like coconut, I’d highly recommend08/06/2019, By CharlotteI was really looking forward to a gluten free buttermilk rusk (the alternatives always seem to have seeds in them), but unfortunately
I was rather disappointed. The taste is completely overwhelmed by the coconut. Sorry, but this just isn't buttermilk rusks, maybe rather rebrand to coconut?28/01/2019, By WarrenThese are really great! Best Banting friendly rusks I have found so far.17/01/2019, By TGreat taste and texture with the benefit of gluten free. :)02/11/2018, By Liz BIf you like coconut, this will definitely satisfy your tastebuds. The creamy buttermilk makes it very tasty and just what you expect it to taste like. I love Gracious Bakers rusks.24/10/2018, By JackieYum yum yum!!! No need to say more! Glad I tried it, I love it and it's my new breakfast of choice!23/10/2018, By JeneceThese rusks are absolutely DELICIOUS. Seriously the nicest tasting Banting rusks out there! Nice change from all the seeded options. I love seeds, but these really taste like the real deal - just WAY better for you!22/10/2018, By KarienI have tried a lot of banting rusks and these are the best!!22/10/2018, By KLMy favourite banting rusks. A nice change from all the seeded rusks. Definite coconut flavour but still very nice.22/10/2018, By SugarfreeBest banting and sugar free rusk that I’ve had before. It’s a pity that the bag isn’t resealable to keep the rusks fresh.15/10/2018, By natashaThe best banting friendly rusks I've tried so far. Even if you are not banting they are soo yummy11/07/2018, By GillyDefinitely up there with the best of the low carb rusks. Crunchy and dunkable. Very coconutty.07/07/2018, By NellyProbably one of the best low carb rusks I have tried thus far and not too pricey. The coconut flavour is quite obvious, but not too overwhelming.13/06/2018, By AThey very nice, I still prefer thE Native buttermilk rusks
