It's great that they are made of organic cotton and no other nasties that can get absorbed into your body through your skin. They have decent absorption so they do what they are meant to. They are, unfortunately, too expensive to use regularly when combined with all the other expensive organic, GMO-free, raw etc. products one buys so unsustainable for me at this stage.
