Bach Original Flower Remedies
Dr Bach was a successful Doctor in London in the early 20th Century with a respected reputation amongst both orthodox and homoeopathic doctors. Becoming disillusioned with the conventional medical world, he founded a new approach to healing that concentrated on the emotional and spiritual health of people rather than their physical symptoms. His dream was that doctors should try to understand people and their soul nature in order to help them heal, rather than just doing medical tests on their bodies. To do this he turned to the healing power of nature, creating remedies based on the spiritual and emotional healing qualities of Mother Nature’s beautiful flowers
He and his assistant Nora Weeks moved into the country to Mount Vernon in the village of Brighwell-cum-Sotwell to research the Flower remedies, trying out thousands of remedies to hone his healing system down to the 38 healers that he felt would cover all the emotional states people could need support for, personally testing many of these remedies himself. The concept is that the flowers carry an imprint and pattern that helps shift emotional patterns within us, restoring a healthy emotional state and balanced personality. These remedies can be taken singly or made into a custom mixture of any number of essences based on your emotional needs.
