25/10/2023, By KeenThis is a very different tasting chocolate but really good. It tastes a bit like rum04/04/2023, By KeenIt is not sweet at all, which I like. It isn't tempered like the other famous brand and has a different texture. But I enjoy it anyway as something different.11/01/2022, By NatashaSo delicious - just one block is satisfying enough when you're craving chocolate.10/09/2021, By BeckyMy absolute favourite chocolate in the whole world. AND it is well priced.07/06/2021, By ClaudVery nice for dark chocolate, I found it a bit darker than Lindt 70%01/02/2021, By MvEI love dark chocolate & recently came across Afrikoa. Totally love the taste..it is authentic, pure chocolate bean. 71% is just perfect & smooth.12/11/2020, By LynPerfect chocolate for making a delicious chocolate mousse02/10/2020, By TaronI am generally not a dark chocolate lover, but since I am going the healthier route, I decided to order this with my other goodies. Not bad at all, especially compared to the 80% one31/07/2020, By RezlaReally good dark chocolate not sweet not bitter.
Comes highly recommended!!!!!28/06/2020, By KateSuch a treat! Would highly recommend to those who enjoy dark chocolate and like to support local.20/05/2020, By MasoodaJust amazing chocolate. Wish they kept all the other afrikoa chocolate combos and variations.14/11/2019, By AngelaIf you like really dark chocolate, you will like it. I think I need to stick to little less cocoa, but it is a good alternative for dairy free chocolate.11/10/2019, By CassFreaking delicious mate! Packed with actual cocoa bean flavour, super smooth and tasty as heck. Also, if you look deeper into the Afrikoa story, you'll find that their chocolate is the only direct trade chocolate on the South African market, which means no child slavery (A.K.A Frey chocolat), and the farmers are ACTUALLY paid well. Also, they're South African and Saffas support Saffas.11/10/2019, By KayThis is by far my favourite chocolate brand! It's such a complex chocolate with a unique fruitiness that lasts long after you've finished the slab. I absolutely love that they are direct trade (it's THE most sustainable way to source cocoa beans) and proudly African (creating jobs). According to their social media, they are organic (just not certified). Never buying imported Swiss or Belgian chocolate ever again - this is way more affordable anyway!27/09/2019, By VictoriaLoved this dark chocolate. It was decadent and not too dense. And Vegan.20/08/2019, By BronwenThis works for anyone who loves the bitter tase of cocoa, otherwise it's not for you. Do wish it cost a bit less.28/03/2019, By AGNeither the packaging nor the product description say that this chocolate is raw, but to me it tastes like raw cacao. It is rather acidic, with a strong, sharp flavour. It has a good texture, although it is a bit gritty from some coarse bits of cacao. If you don't like the taste of raw cacao beans, maybe this is not for you.06/12/2018, By NoelsterReally good old dark chocolate, not organic or sugar free, but then i'd prefer a little bit of sugar to the artificial sweeteners or dodgey maltodextrin used by other 'sugar free' brands out there.16/11/2018, By rethaSo happy to have found delicious vegan chocolate, I always bake with this. The 70 percent has a nice dark touch to it but it’s still sweet and not too bitter31/08/2018, By JolandiThe ingredients wasn't given hrre, so I thought it might not contain sugar. But it does!!! Which was disappointing. It is delicious, but for the price I would rather buy Freys chocolate (available in Checkars) instead. It has less sugar and the same quality ingredients. No other vegetable fats (palm fruit etc) added.13/07/2018, By DebbieI got this as a free sample, and was very surprised by the sweet taste, for such a dark chocolate. However, it was very smooth and delicious!30/10/2017, By SandraSweeter than anticipated, but smooth and decadent regardless!
