Directions for Use
Essential oils are the highly concentrated active ingredients of plants. They should always be diluted in a base before use and should not be taken internally without professional recommendation.
- Baths: Add 5 - 10 drops of essential oil(s) to a warm run bath. If skin is sensitive, blend the essential oil in a teaspoon of carrier oil first. Close the door so the vapours don't escape. Soak for at least 10 minutes relaxing and breathing deeply. For added moisturising dilute the oils in 10ml of carrier before adding to the bath.
- Massage: add 5 - 6 drops of essential oil per 10ml of carrier oil. Mix thoroughly and apply liberally to the skin.
- Inhalations: Add 4 - 5 drops of essential oil to a bowl of steaming water. Place a towel over your head, close your eyes and lean over the bowl. Inhale the vapour for a few minutes.
- Burners and Diffusers: Fill the bowl of the burner/vaporiser with water and then add 3 - 6 drops of essential oil. Light the candle and the oil will evaporate as the water heats up. Do not let the bowl dry out.
Caring for Your Essential Oils
SOil essential oils and carrier oils are living products that are vulnerable to heat, moisture, air and light. It is best to store them in a cool, dark place with the lids well sealed. If your fridge is the only cool place around, allow the oils to reach a cool room temperature before use (around 20 degrees C).

I've only been using it for a week so it's too early to tell if it works, but I've been loving the smell! Loses 1 point cause I think it's a bit pricey, but I'm sure it will last a while!13/03/2018, By DyanLove the citrus oils. Fresh, uplifting and happy oil.19/02/2018, By AmandaLove the smell and how it makes my skin feel. Not sure if this is normal or not, since I don't have experience with essential oils: I noticed the first time I used this oil (in combination with another citrus oil - Soil's Lemon, so I'm not sure if it's the grapefruit, the lemon or both) that a few minutes after it gets absorbed into my skin, I experience a strong citrus taste. Not unpleasant, just a big surprise the first time. Might be a good way to ease citrus cravings in summer, hehe25/09/2017, By PetraI use it to add a pleasant scent to my bicarb deodorant.30/08/2017, By ZiaLove the smell! Grapefruit is one of my favorite things, but having eczema I cannot eat too much citric fruits. This is a great alternative to get my Vit C up during cold & flu season.18/08/2017, By NikiOh that lovely sharp citrus smell. Exactly what my pregnant body was craving. I used it in a homemade face cleanser. Bit pricey is the only downside.27/05/2017, By EliskeThis is a must have in your essential oil collection. I diffuse grapefruit, lemon and spearmint to recharge! Works wonders!17/09/2016, By GerdaI love the smell of grapefruit, but this oil has a very faint smell of grapefruit and is not what I anticipated.26/01/2016, By ashleighI rub this with some Jojoba or argan oil on my face and let it sit. It soothes my acne prone skin.17/12/2015, By CatherineI LOVE the smell of this oil; its refreshing, summery and clean. Unfortunatly, its just not very strong at all! I bought this to use in a DIY body lotion that has Shea Butter in it. The Shea butter totally powers over this smell and I used almost a whole bottle but with no success. Maybe needs to be used with a totally neutral carrier oil...28/08/2015, By VianaGorgeous uplifting scent. Mixes really nicely with cedar oil in a coconut oil for skin application I take drop in water daily (do not do this at the same time you take medication, it may affect absorption).
