I felt a mixture of anxiety and restlessness when it started to work. Felt my body going through periods of relaxation then stimulation.
Will try taking the powder inside the capsule with some water tonight. Perhaps I'm reacting to some ingredient in the capsule.
I normally take 1000mgs at night when using other brands.
