The OuHuis (or “Old House”), built in 1885, is the oldest homestead on the Cape’s well-known Zeekoevlei farm. OuHuis rooibos tea has been cultivated on this farm since the 1980s; first by the Engelbrecht family, and today by the Smit family.
OuHuis Rooibos is sustainably cultivated and processed. No harmful chemicals are used in its production, so the finished product is residue-free. The OuHuis brand supports sustainable agriculture and biodiversity, partnering with the Landcare Program to clear away invasive alien plants and rehabilitate local wetlands.
This traditional South African tea carries the OuHuis “Tea Kettle Stamp of Quality”, guaranteeing excellence and freshness in every packet.
