Rayon is commonly chlorine-bleached, and is a highly absorbent fibre. Dioxin, a toxic carcinogen, is a by-product of all chlorine bleaching methods and is also found throughout the environment in varying levels as a by-product of pesticide spraying and pollution from incinerators. Dioxin has been found to collect in the fatty tissues of animals, including humans and should, therefore, be a real concern for women. Published scientific reports have shown that evidence is growing that even low levels of dioxins may be linked to cancer, endometriosis, low sperm counts and immune system suppression. Considering a woman may use as many as 11,000 tampons in her lifetime, she may be subjecting herself to additional dioxin exposure.

5 out of 5 people would recommend this product11/12/2017, By ClareTo be fair, these tampons aren't too pricey - they're not that far off in price compared to regular tampons. And they look and feel like any of the other big brands. Love that I'm not exposing my body to a dose of bleach every month anymore!28/11/2017, By Jenna-leigheasy to use02/10/2017, By BiancaGreat and easy to use. Been using them for years with no regrets14/08/2017, By SharonLove that it has no plastic covering nor plastic applicator, so all degradable! Love this product, so glad I found it.
I don't quite understand why these are so much cheaper than the non-applicator ones, does not make sense.11/07/2017, By Marikaperfect to use
