11/08/2020, By MikiI loove my moon cup! After my cramps have passed, I don't even feel like I'm on my period. It is really comfy with soft silicone - I've never liked tampons and I used to wear pads and they could chafe me when I exercised. Got it right with the second use, had to figure out what length to cut it first.08/08/2020, By MTakes some time to figure out what works best for you, but once you do, it's 100% worth it. Excellent service from Faithful to Nature too!16/07/2020, By KimThese are so comfortable - you can forget about all the standard worries during mensis. It is super discreet. As it holds so much more, you can go for so much longer that regualr products. I also felt way more secure and leakproof. One of the main things I noticed, was that there were none of the crampiness that I normally experience with regular tampons. Tried another brand before this one...This one has a longer tip for easier grip and ability to pull our. Trusty and recommended!30/06/2020, By FWay too expensive! I wish I'd seen the FTN own brand before buying this. It will pay itself off over time but really not necessary to be so pricey for a bit of silicone really. Also, the large is too big for me and can be quite painful when removing as the rim is so sturdy. I'm 32 so went for the larger size based on the product recommendation for over 30s.
That said it does the job so in that sense I have no complaints.06/04/2020, By BThe cup is initally quite an adjustment, and more messy if your flow is heavy. But the amount of money saved on tampons and never thinking if they will run out again is worth it. Also being able to just go to the loo normally is great.03/03/2020, By CurryMind shift required, but this is great! Big savings, in cost and climate/ environment, even if used for one day during.. Bought for a girlfriend who was fence-sitting on making the shift, and she loved it and didn’t love it sometimes. Keen to review again when I purchase mine post breastfeeding.23/12/2019, By LorenThis is a really good product. Not only for the environment but for women's pockets and most importantly their bodies too! It takes time getting used to using the cup, so don't give up if at first, it's not working the way it should; I found that initially inserting and especially removing my cup was really painful. Researching different methods of inserting and removing the cup really helps, there are lots of youtube videos about this. Also understanding the female anatomy and using a good water-based lubricant has been beneficial.26/11/2019, By MichelleI'm two cycles in and loving this cup. Never used a cup before and am still learning to "trust" it (after 20 years of tampon use, it's always going to be a challenge). It does take perseverance (my first two cycles didn't go that well), but once you have the hang of it there is no going back. I'm a very active person and was quite worried about leaking, but have had absolutely no problems (when inserted properly, which comes with practice). Don't be scared of this product, just give it a try (a few tries maybe)!05/10/2019, By TasThis is an age when women have options when it comes to their 'time-of-the-month'. We can make greener choices and healthier choices, but most of all, we have 'choice'! And I will choose the Mooncup over disposable pads and tampons any day. The only thing I would say, is to have patience. Don't be afraid. Don't let anyone else scare you away from using it. Take your time building your relationship with your Mooncup, it will eventually be the BEST thing that has happened to your body. Go for it!30/09/2019, By NikkiThis is my second time ordering this life changing little piece of silicone. Im super glad I found it when I did and I have not had one regret since. I cannot even imagine going back to tampons and their annoying little strings. 12/10 definitely recommend02/09/2019, By DanielleI have been using the Moon Cup for three years and I absolutely love it. It takes time to get used to but once you are comfortable your life will never be the same. The Moon Cup is sturdy and it does not leak if you have it in correctly. You can swim with it in which is a huge bonus for summer. I highly recommend this incredible product.21/08/2019, By SusanIt's a game-changer for me! Would most definitely recommend it.
really fantastic that you can keep it inserted for up to 12 hours and so much healthier and better for the environment.06/07/2019, By BMI love the idea of the menstrual cup and especially love that I've been able to part ways with tampons. There's definitely an art to inserting and removing the moon cup (or any menstrual cup), sometimes I get it right and sometimes a frustrating painful mess. This is my first menstrual cup and I'm two cycles in so I'll persevere. I use it on my first and second days only as they are the heaviest. I pair it with the organic disposable pads.26/06/2019, By ShanI previously wrote a review ( about 7 months ago) about having no success with the moon cup. I am happy to say that I have since had success and would never go back! Sure it can be a bit tedious at times, but it is definitely better than any other kind of disposable menstrual product.18/06/2019, By NatalieI used the Goddess Cup before & loved using it, but needed to replace it because the tab became brittle. I replaced it with the Mooncup Menstrual Cup, hoping that it would last longer. It is definitely more durable, but the rim is hard and it was painful every time I needed to remove it and sometimes when I inserted it. I hoped that it would become more flexible or that I would become
used to it, but it was not the case. For now I will try to use fabric pads.28/04/2019, By YolandaThree cycles in and I have no regrets buying this product. Comfortable, easy to use and environmentally friendly. However, rinsing can be tedious/ gross if you must use public restrooms.28/04/2019, By ChanelI’m so happy that I finally took the plunge and got a moon cup! It is so easy to use and it feels great to not be contributing to ages of un-recycled pads and Tampons ever again!26/04/2019, By AnnwynAmazing product. Wish I’d found this earlier in my womanhood. I feel fantastic not contributing further to the landfill with my monthly cycle. The mooncup leaked a tiny bit on first use, but just needs careful positioning and since then it’s been comfortable, hasn’t leaked and insertion has been easy following the instructions. I’ve found it’s brought a mindfulness to my cycles and an awareness that is important. My cycle has become a ritual.05/03/2019, By ChrizaneTook me about three cycles to get used to the cup and I found it made a huge difference when I trimmed the stem (I suspect my cervix anatomy is short/low). Don't boil or sterilise for too long on stove top however (the plastic became less clear): very hot water and dunk for a few minutes seems adequate.
Such a great product for those living or travelling in remote areas. I can keep mine in for up to 12 hours with no leakage. I have done everything wearing it, including swimming and yoga. Only issue was running, during which I could very much feel the cup and felt it shifting.25/02/2019, By StaceyCannot believe I have only bought one now - should of done it sooner! Great product!21/02/2019, By ZetskeI’ve been using mooncup for years! And I’ve never looked back! It is so comfortable, you don’t even know it’s there. Very easy to use and to clean.17/02/2019, By LaraVery comfortable and easy to use. I would highly recommend it. It's my first menstrual cup so it took a while to get used to, but the manual is very helpful and informative.10/02/2019, By ShanI purchased the Mooncup based on its great reviews and it's reasonable price(compared to other highly recommended menstrual cups), but so far I have had no success in actually using it. I find it extremely painful, and have been unable to use it this far, although I will not give up as I think menstrual cups are great.05/02/2019, By LeeI love the product, paired with the liner period panties I've managed to reduce my disposable period products to only a pack of liners a month(because I only have one pair of the underwear) which I think is fantastic! I went with the Mooncup instead of the Goddess Cup purely because of branding(even though it is more expensive) and how I had heard more of about the Mooncup. My one criticism is that the rim is quite thick-and so if you pull out at an odd angle it can hurt a bit, but I'm not sure if that is what makes the cup so good at not leaking(FYI, this isn't my first menstrual cup)... Overall, I think it's fantastic. Just to point out to those of you who have very heavy periods like me, you need to expect to change it more often when you where the B size(and I don't think the A size is an option for me if the rim already gets a bit sore pulling it out)01/02/2019, By MelissaSo comfortable to wear and DEFINITELY the way forward for ALL woman concerned with our environnent. Your period is not a choice but what you use is!18/12/2018, By LeatitiaAfter some failure with my previous cup (constant leaking despite my best efforts), I wasn't quite ready to give up and decided to try a different brand. I got the Mooncup and it is AWESOME! It hasn't leaked once! I think it comes down to body shape and preference, so if at first you don't succeed, don't give up! The Mooncup is really fabulous. It feels durable and is instantly comfortable. I'm certainly buying another one when the time comes.04/12/2018, By NikpikAl the above reviews were really helpfull. After studying the leaflet thoroughly I started using it. I am surprised at how convenient it actually is, and am still learning a few thing. Like, it's better to pee before trying to remove it22/11/2018, By MariskaI used a cheaper menstrual cup first and was happy with it even though it was a bit of a struggle to get the cup to "pop open" and seal once inserted. I then switched to the Mooncup and this is a menstrual cup in a different class! Definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to make the change from pads or tampons.08/11/2018, By CarolineThe moon cup didn’t leak at all which was one of my biggest comcerns. I do feel that I need to get better at placing it comfortably but and confident that I will get there.08/11/2018, By FreyaThis menstrual cup had honestly changed my life for the better. I would recommend this product 100 times over. I will never go back to pads and tampons. The cup is easier, better for the environment, and so far there have been no leaks to speak of!16/10/2018, By RebeccaTook a few cycles to get used to it but I don;t think I could go back to tampons. This is such a wonderful product and it is good quality. It’s also wonderful knowing that you are doing some good for the environment.09/10/2018, By RenI was very nervous about using a menstrual cup, but it was a total non-event! I had no difficulty inserting or removing it and had no leaking at all during my period. I will never go back to tampons and am currently trying to convince all my friends to make the switch.03/09/2018, By Freak of NatureI was on day 2 of trying out my brand-new Mooncup (B) when I somehow managed to drop it in the loo and it disappeared straight down the pipe - GONE! Obviously I was quite traumatized and felt super stupid. Posting it here so that other ladies don't make the same mistake.
I had watched some very useful YouTube videos before trying out the cup. I really recommend doing that. It hardly leaked and I couldn't feel it whilst going about my day. Taking it out was a little painful though.01/09/2018, By KarmiaI have been wanting to go the green route for some time now. And am I glad that I have!
Good quality product!
Side note - the removal takes a bit of practice.27/08/2018, By CarmenI'm so glad I made the switch, took about a day or so to get the hang of it and adjust the length etc. but my only regret is that I didn't make the switch sooner! I feel comfortable and confident using this cup16/08/2018, By AnneWas a bit hesitant at first, but reading the reviews decided to try it out. So glad I did! It took a some time getting used to it, inserting it correctly. But once you know how to use it, there's no way back. Will keep using for sure!14/08/2018, By PetI have been using my Mooncup for about four years and it still is going strong. In the beginning it took time to get the hang of removing the cup which is the most difficult part I find(to not let it leak) but now I don't even think about it.14/08/2018, By KellySUCH A HUGE FAN!! I have officially converted to being a Mooncup advocate, thanks to Faithful to Nature. Tampons and pads are no more, and to be honest, the Mooncup is a lot more comfortable than anything I have ever used. I have experienced NO leaking whatsoever, which I was previously worried about. And it fits into the most active of lifestyles! Never going back! The more I can help my environment, the better.12/08/2018, By AshleighA bit nervous to try this at first but was impressed with the effectiveness. It was relatively easy to insert the first time and now is a breeze. The first few times were a bit uncomfortable because the plastic "string" was quite long. I only realised after my second cycle that I could trip it for a custom fit. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to do their bit for the environment as well as save costs in the future.05/08/2018, By SaraSo so happy with this cup. I had another brand (not sold here) but it leaked. I bought this one and wow what a difference. Worth the extra money!25/07/2018, By TamsinI was extremely nervous about using this product since I struggle a lot with tampons - they hurt to insert, they are uncomfortable and they leak.
I was extremely nervous about this, since it is much larger than a tampon and I didn't see how it could seal properly.
Since pads were starting to give me bad rashes, I decided to take the chance on the Mooncup and am very happy.
Since it sits so low, one doesn't have to stress about cutting the stem too short, it is fairly easy to reach the bottom of the cup to remove it.
You get used to it very quickly and soon forget that it's there.
I am very active and am pleased to say that it did not leak at all.
It is also remarkably easy to insert, much better than tampons!
The instructions are so clear and simple, they give you great confidence in using the product, and that confidence was definitely rewarded in my case.21/07/2018, By JessyIts only my second month using this product and i absolutely love it so far, struggled to insert the cup properly the first time but after the third try i figured it out. Its so comfortable i don't feel it at all! no more tampons :)04/07/2018, By EmI was nervous to try it because I was so used to tampons and it took a couple tries to figure out how best to insert and remove it. I'd recommend reading the instructions and using it for the first time towards the end of your cycle, when your flow is lighter, so you aren't dealing with a full cup. But once you get the hang of it, it is easy to insert and remove and it is very comfortable. If you have very heavy days you'll need to empty it a bit more often, to avoid leaks, but it holds so much more than a tampon. I love it and I won't go back to tampons.12/06/2018, By AIt is such an amazing product, easy to use and clean, feels very comfortable and just overall awesome because of its sustainability. I, unfortunately, had a lot of trouble with mine, it leaked every single cycle even though I followed their exact instructions and bought the size they recommended. I had to buy panty liners every month to make sure nothing embarrassing happens to me. I really wish I could use it and feel more comfortable with it because it really is a phenomenal product. I will try the goddess cup and see how they compare.10/05/2018, By ElisabethThis is the second Mooncup I have purchased, my first lasted 6 years - it developed some splits by the tiny holes at the top & is still usable but I don't want to take any chances! It is an amazing solution & I have never looked back after switching from tampons. There were stressful moments when I first used it as one has to get the hang of removing it, but the secret is to learn how to grab the base to release the suction instead of relying on the stalk to pull it out. I have very heavy periods and this is the perfect as it holds so much more than a tampon and does not leak easily or at all if flow is light.27/04/2018, By KateI love this product. It takes a bit getting used to, trying out which method of insertion is best, and it takes a few tries/cycles to know how short to cut the stem (depending on your anatomy), but overall I have been super impressed and will never go back to using tampons.18/04/2018, By KatieI’m so glad I bought my Mooncup. I’m so much less worried than when I was using tampons because it’s virtually impossible to leak and I’m confident it will stay in place.
My first few attempts took a while but have patience and stay calm. There are a lot of helpful YouTube videos online.
Once you’ve made the initial investment you really will be saving money and creating less waste. I’m so glad I took the plunge.15/04/2018, By AlexSo great, I would recommend to everyone. I got it years ago (high school days), but only built up the courage a while back to try it. I'm now 25 and feel liberated that I don't have to rush off to the store to get tampons anymore.
First few tries are awkward, but you get the hang of it after a while. Then it's so normal and freeing.
I've never tried a goddess cup. A friend has and it looks a bit thinner and less 'sturdy' than the Mooncup.
I'd recommend this product 100%. If its not working well for you, reread instructions & make sure you seal it properly.27/03/2018, By LynneThis was my first menstrual cup, and I used it for the first time my last cycle. It took me a few tries to really get the hang of it and there's a definite trick to getting it out (turns out that reading the instructions is a good idea). This cup is so much more comfortable and more reliable than a tampon, and it's so great not to have to carry around tampons and keep a whole lot of different sizes on hand. As someone who suffers from fairly heavy periods, this is lifechanging! Plus its way better for the environment :D I won't be going back to tampons and I highly recommend the Mooncup.21/03/2018, By BronwenI read the FTN blog and reviews a few times before deciding to take the plunge and buy a moon cup. I was a bit apprehensive about it at first but after working out I had contributed 26 years worth of tampons (at age 39 now) to the growing landfill of sanitary wear, I was horrified and determined to make a small difference.
My moon cup arrived. I read the pamphlet a few times, boiled my moon cup as stated. Day 1 arrived of my period and I tried it. I struggled. In hindsight it was because my flow was too light, and I had not cut the stem at all so it was pinching as well as I was anxious about it. Day 2 I opted for tampons (feeling very guilty) because it is always my heaviest day and I had to go out. I didn't feel like the stress , I wanted to be home using it for the first time.
Day 3 I tried again. This time I cut the stem right down. I was surprised that I couldn't feel it at all. I did struggle to remove it, but I followed the instructions and slid a finger up the side to release the suction which made it so much easier (the suction can be super strong!)It was a bit messy, but as long as you can wash your hands with soap and water you will be fine! I was surprised that the moon cup wasn't even full each time I emptied it out, rinsed it and reinserted it. Day 3 was my learning day and I wore a panty liner which did have some leakage but not much.
Day 4-7 I got the hang of it and it was plain sailing after that.
I even swam and hiked with it in. I would recommend making sure you have accessibility to water and soap (if not, rather wear another form of sanitary wear until you do) as well as relaxing and not stressing about removing it. It can't get lost inside you and it just need a bit of a push and a wiggle and it slides right out.
lets face it, the string of a tampon can be smelly (urine) and also you worry about it sticking out when you wear a bikini. With a moon cup all that is gone! So wonderful!
I would totally recommend this wonderful product. you will feel so free during your period!08/03/2018, By LilieLove love love my cup!! Took a while to figure it out but once you get it right you will never look back !12/02/2018, By VickyThis product is simply amazing. I wish I had discovered this many years ago. It comes with simple instructions, and there are also loads of informative videos available on YouTube. Every single month, during my period, I would experience discomforts (something similar to the feeling of bladder infection); only now that I have used the Mooncup, have I figured out, this has mostly been due to my tampon use. I did some research and discovered that my not so trusty tampons are laden with harmful chemicals. I am inlove with this product (Mooncup), and will most probably continue to use this, for as long as I have a period. And, this was delivered to my door, in 24 hours!! Now, that is fantastic service. Thank you!04/02/2018, By KylieI am so happy with my change to this menstrual cup! I would have to change tampons every 1.5 - 2 hours for the 1st 2/3 days of my period, which is absolutely horrible because I wouldn’t want to go anywhere or do anything for those 3 days a month Incase I leak through. But with this cup, I can go up to 6-8 hours without even thinking about being on my period!
You really aren’t restricted at all with this cup as you can swim, sleep and exercise with it in and you don’t even feel it.
It is quite different to get used to putting it in and removing it compared to tampons, but it didn’t take me long to get used to it at all. I did find the length a problem with the stick part at the bottom, so it didn’t take long for me to completely remove the whole thing as it wasn’t needed. Just be sure that you don’t need it before you cut it off!
The no waste aspect was actually my main reason for changing and the fact that it holds 3x more than a tampon was my final persuasion pro that I needed to invest. But so far I am so relieved my concerns for the cup are out the window!
03/02/2018, By SuzieIt took me a long time to commit to a menstrual cup because I couldn't decide on a brand. It was ultimately the reviews on the Mooncup that sealed the deal and there is no looking back. Absolutely life-changing with regards to comfort and convenience and much easier to use than I thought it would be.23/12/2017, By JesThis is an incredible improvement from using tampons. I can leave it in the entire day without the stress of leakage, or feeling dried out. I love my Mooncup.22/12/2017, By TammyI am so happy I decided to give this a try. I didn't have much luck with the Goddess Cup unfortunately, and almost gave up hope of a Menstrual Cup working for me.
I found this so easy to use, got the hang of it quite quickly, and haven't had a single leak! It's also so comfortable, I don't even realise it's there
This is definitely worth getting, a great investment to yourself and the environment. Every women should have one18/12/2017, By MVSo easy to use, so comfortable!
It really IS life-changing. No need to worry about leaking, no need to run to bathroom the whole day, reducing the impact on the environment... And bonus I have spent NIL on sanitary products since
Have recommended to my sisters and friends08/12/2017, By SindisiweThe first cup I tried leaked quite a lot but this one is fantastic! The capacity isn’t huge, so on my heaviest day I sometimes have to empty it quite often. The other day I walked past the sanitary products in the supermarket and felt really happy that I couldn’t remember the last time I’d bought any.24/11/2017, By JaneI have only used applicator tampons, so having to push the mooncup in by hand scared me at first. It took me two tries to get it in, and removing it was a little bit stressful the first time for me. I would recommend practicing putting it in and taking it out before you have your period.
Also wear it for a while before deciding on where (or whether) to cut the stem off. I cut mine shorter than necessary, which makes it a bit trickier to take out.
Overall, great product and very comfortable.15/10/2017, By BexGame changer. I love my mooncup, it makes life easier, greener and healthier. Not nearly as intimidating as I though it would be!15/10/2017, By BexGame changer. I love my mooncup, it makes life easier, greener and healthier. Not nearly as intimidating as I though it would be!15/10/2017, By MarleneSo happy with this product! Took a day to "get to know" the cup, but now I can't ever imagine using anything else for my period ever again. It's healthier for the body, environment and bank balance - so why would you not love it?
Thanks Faithful to Nature!!12/10/2017, By JenEvery women should be using this! Super easy, more comfortable than tampons and I feel good about myself because I'm not only being kind to the environment I'm also being much gentler on my body and my wallet in the long run.06/10/2017, By Tracey JoyThis is the second cup I have tried. This brand is better by far. It is an investment, but absolutely worth it.18/09/2017, By EllaTook a day or so to get used to its application, but once I got that down (or up ;P), I could not believe it took me so long to get my own menstrual cup! The peace of mind alone, not having to worry about leaking, makes it worth it, and the little-no impact on the environment is the cherry on the top!11/09/2017, By JemmaBest thing i could ever have brought. Great for the environment, i really feel a sense of relief at not having to buy pads or tampons every month anymore, i definitely feel like i am helping the environment with this amazing cup! Feels so much more healthier and cleaner than tampons and pads. I just brought my sister one as well! Everyone should have this cup! It does take some getting used to though as you really have to get intimate with yourself, especially when taking the cup out, but it makes your period so much tolerable and i feel like it shortened my period as well, an added bonus.06/09/2017, By JliiThis cut takes some getting used to but is SO worth it and SO much better than any other sanitary products.30/08/2017, By LianneThe first time I used it, it took some getting used to. I realised quickly that the long 'handle' can be cut right down from first use as you don't actually need it. First prize to be used in a toilet with a basin close by, or a bottle of water as second best option. It feels comfortable and no more waste... just love it.05/07/2017, By CheI am thrilled with this product and the service from Customer Service in the UK. I found it incredibly easy to use and have not had a days issue. That heavy dull ache I usually have every month seems to have disappeared and it is super comfortable at all times. It has been interesting and enlightening to get so up and personal with my period and lady bits! What an amazing product!22/06/2017, By KimWhy, oh why did I not try this years ago? As easy, if not easier than a tampon. And much more comfortable... Comes with loads of info and illustrations on how to use it. Really all simple and so easy... did I say that already? Oh, and I am saving money, and the environment. Make the change, you won't be sorry.09/06/2017, By LisaIf my house burns down, this will be one of the first things I grab! Absolutely life-changing - no more stinky, chemically laced pads or tampons!09/06/2017, By GabyI still wonder why I took so long to buy one of these. I have been hearing about menstrual cups since a few years, but thought it wasn't a product for me, that it was too much of a hassle. Then I read a shocking article on the chemicals that are in tampons and pads and I did the switch. It is the best thing ever. I don't even feel it. It is very easy to insert, and to remove once you are used to it. It has been 4 months since I bought my Mooncup, and I haven't used a tampon nor a pad since. and I love that this alternative is much better for me, much cheaper in the long run, and waste free! I recommend it 100%!11/04/2017, By AndreaThis is a phenomenal game changer, ladies! Period pains are gone, expensive sanitary products - gone. And my favourite perk is that my cycle no longer has any impact on my lifestyle - long hikes, active yoga sessions or hours catching waves - its just not even an issue anymore. And making the change, is one of the most empowering environmental stances you can take to reduce your personal footprint. Do it! Get personal with your body - you will NOT regret it. :) x18/01/2017, By GemmaI must say, I didn think this would work as well as it does. Im so happy I made the decision to invest in this cut- because thats what it is, an investment. Not only is it comfortable and discreet but also easy to insert and clean.
I took a little practice at first with insertion but its so worth it for the hours of protection it provides. I don have to worry about carrying tampons around at work as you can use the loo without having to remove it. I found a little bit of leakage when I played squash but would still recommend this to any sporty person. I love my moon cup.22/11/2016, By DonniqueReally love this product, feel alot more in tune with my body. Easy to use, easy to clean, leaks a little during exercise but no more than conventional sanitary products. Accidentally cut the stem too short so suggest you use it once before cutting the stem.10/10/2016, By JessicaThis is the third menstrual cup brand Im using and I think it might just be the best one so far. I have quite a heavy flow and there haven been any big leaks and I really enjoy how sturdy it feels, unlike MyOwnCup which feels a bit too flexible.16/09/2016, By ShelleyI have wanted to try menstrual cups for ages! And now I am so happy I did. Even though I have a stupidly low lying cervix during my period I Google tons of advice and found a way to make the cup work for me. Mooncup UK were so helpful and even refunded me the price of the cup regardless of the fact that I bought it from FTN. They said it would not work for me and they apologise because their cup is longer than I have space for. But I still made it work! I am blown away by how easy they are to use and how you totally forget about it. I always got irritation down there from pads and tampons eventually give me thrush after I use too many. I barely felt a thing using the menstrual cup! It is a serious learning curve and I am amazed and just how little I knew about my own lady parts!!! But now I can gladly say I know a lot about how things work.
Thanks so much for srocking this amazing brand of cups. I am so happy I tried!!09/06/2016, By BiancaI was very, very skeptical before trying this product. I didn think much of the concept of how they operate. But after use I WILL NEVER TURN BACK!!!! They are so comfortable and you don have to worry about WHO can sense you
e on your mensies. Great for horse riding as well! Made my period a breeze!!! The company is also very helpful in answering all your questions.09/06/2016, By TanyaI bought this product fully expecting it to take me a while to get the hang of it. I have only used it during one cycle now and it was super easy. Worked so well - easy to insert and no accidents. An absolutely life changing product!08/04/2016, By ShayneI tried he other brand first and wish I had bought this one first rather. It is easy to insert, doesn leak (I have heavy flows so thats saying a lot!) very easy to clean, you can even sleep with it in. I much prefer this one to the other and especially love that it last long, I won need to buy tampons again and its easy to clean, and if for some reason can change
ow (like I am asleep) its ok. Another thing I like (quite a quirky like) is that it has a ml measurement on the side so you can now if your flow is too heavy or not. Brilliant product- money well spent on this one!31/01/2016, By NeliaIve tried the Mooncup and the MyOwnCup. After one period I can safely say that I prefer the Mooncup. The leaflet is nice and detailed, giving you the step by step on everything you need to do to ensure that you are comfortable and your Mooncup is clean. The Mooncup is a bit firmer than the MyOwnCup. I never had troubles with getting it to open up or getting it out, thanks to the prominent grip rings on the bottom and the stem of the cup. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who gets periods and currently uses tampons.26/01/2016, By ashleighThis is a great great product. It does take a little practice but its just so much better than the alternatives.24/11/2015, By MeganI used my mooncup for the first time this week and I am converted! Wow, no more waking up in the middle of the night to do a change or running to the ladies on the hour at work. I suffer from a VERY heavy flow and this is without a doubt the answer to my prayers.
If I can give any advice I would say read the instructions carefully and completely relax when inserting and removing. The more you tense up the more difficult it will be.04/11/2015, By KarlaLOVE THIS PRODUCT. Ive had my Mooncup for nearly 10 years now and I cannot recommend it enough. I love knowing that Im not contributing to the toxic waste build up. Its a fabulous thing to be out in nature (for instance when hiking or camping) to know that you don have to carry out a blooded items.26/10/2015, By WendyI was also a little skeptical at first, but after doing enough research I convinced myself to buy one.
It has definitely changed my lifestyle, and for the better. I would recommend it to anyone. Yes it does take a little bit of getting used to, but once you have it figured out, it really makes your monthly cycle so much easier.10/09/2015, By JACKIEI love my MoonCup!!! My sisters each got one and then told me about it. I bought one and a week later I bought 4 more. I gave them to my friends and although they were a bit dubious at first but now say they cannot live without it. I have now bought 11 in total and have yet to meet someone that didnt love theirs, it might seem like an odd gift to give someone but they all really appreciate it once they have tried it!
They might take a try or 2 to get them comfy but once you get the hang of it, it is like it is not even there. Way more hygienic than tampons and pads, it is a once of cost and we get to play our little part in saving the environment.
You cannot go wrong with a Mooncup26/05/2015, By RachaelI have been using a MoonCup for 4 years and I absolutely love it, Ill never go back to tampons or sanitary pads. My friend convinced me to give it a go and since Ive started Ive convinced my sister and my mum to get on too. Admittedly my first period with it wasn fun, it felt uncomfortable and was a bit awkward using a toilet outside my own home. But then I cut the stem off before my next period, and learnt how to properly insert it and it hasn been uncomfortable again - when its in properly you shouldn feel it. And as for using it out and about, as long as you have toilet paper to wipe down your fingers before you leave the cubicle you don have to look like lady macbeth at the sinks! Ive just had a baby and as soon as my periods return Ill be getting the next size up. Ive only ever used the MoonCup, not another brand, and Ill only use the MoonCup in future. It works brilliantly.14/04/2015, By DeidreI bought my menstruation cup, MyOwnCup Sanitary Menstrual Cup, here at Faithful to Nature in December. I was very sceptical but decided to give it a try. The first time I had to use it was very very stressful and I ended up almost tossing it to the bin. But then i googled some Youtube videos and by the next day I was a pro at inserting and other issues with this method. I now wish I had convinced myself sooner in life to try new ways. I cant wait to recommend it to my daughter one day too. Yes its not a product for those who are not willing to get way more intimate with their lady bits. But me personally I think its the greatest product ever. Really wish more females could be introduced to it and most of all that it was more affordable for those who really could be in need of this product.07/04/2015, By SaskiaI have exactly the same product just from a different brand (Diva cup). Its great if you
e out of tampons. Otherwise, I find it difficult to insert, as you have to squeeze it together and if it pops open while you
e inserting, you won get it in far enough. Its ok when walking, but when sitting the little knob that you use to pull on and remove it, it rubs and it feels uncomfortable. Its definitely very unuseful if you
e in a public toilet as you cannot wash it. You have to wash it in a sink, which can be kinda gross. I don find it very hygienic, because its difficult to rinse it under very hot water. Then when putting it back in after washing, its kinda not slippery enough and difficult to insert.
I recommend it if you go on a 5 day hike in the wilderness and have no other options...or if you
e a super conscious nature freak and don want to pollute the world with tampons, but otherwise this is a pretty useless devise.
