Nativo Wines
Nativo organic wines come to you from the Hughes Family farm, owned by Argentinian-born Billy Hughes and his wife Penny. This picturesque piece of land, named Kasteelsig Vineyards, is found in Malmesbury in the Cape. The vines grown on this farm are cultivated without chemical pesticides and fertilisers; they are grown with a variety of indigenous cover crops, and receive no artificial irrigation, only natural winter rainfall.
The name Nativo refers to Billy Hughes’ native roots and his journey to becoming a naturalised South African – as well as his drive to create wines that reflect their native origins in his proudly South African vineyards. Raise a glass and savour the rich flavours and aromas of these truly special organic wines.
