Directions:
- In a gentle manner, take your dog to a spot where they feel comfortable to urinate.
- Keep your dog on a leash and within easy reach.
- Use a clean plastic container to collect the urine.
- Dip the test strip into the urine briefly ( 1 second) so that all the reagent pads are wet, then remove.
- Blot the side of the test strip on absorbent paper to remove excess urine.
- After exactly 60 seconds, compare the colours on the test strip with the colour scale on the container.
- For leukocytes, wait for 2 minutes for the results.
Please Note:
- Wash hands before and after collection.
- All cuts and abrasions on your hands must be covered with waterproof dressing.
- Ensure the container you are using for collection is washed and clean but does not have any soap residue left.
- Always take precautions when handling any body fluids and immediately clean and disinfect any spillage.
- Always wear gloves and appropriate protection when handling other people's body fluids.
