Directions:
- Take 1 x capsule daily with or without food.
Caution:
- Not suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. High doses of saffron may stimulate uterine contractions, increasing the risk of miscarriage.
- Use with caution and with a doctor's recommendation/guidance if you have Thyroid Disorders (hyperthyroidism) or are on thyroid medication.
- Avoid use if you have low blood pressure (Hypertension) or are on antihypertensive medication.
- Avoid use if you have diabetes and or poor blood sugar control.
- Avoid use if you have stomach ulcers or digestive issues.
- Ashwagandha may enhance the sedative effects of antianxiety medications, sedatives, or alcohol, potentially leading to excessive drowsiness and CNS depression.
- Do not use if you experience mood disorders such as bipolar, anxiety, depression, since saffron influences serotonin levels, it may trigger manic episodes in individuals with bipolar disorder or interact with antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOIs).
- Avoid use if you have bleeding disorders or are taking blood thinners (warfarin, aspirin).
- Stop use at least two weeks before surgery.
- Avoid use if you have low blood pressure (Hypertension) or are taking antihypertensive medication.
