Eureka Rye flour is 100% pure rye with no wheat blended into it. Many people who are wheat intolerant find they can handle rye better as it has a lower gluten content. Rye flour is high in roughage that promotes healthy bowel movement, is exceptionally rich in nutrients and has a 10% protein content. Enjoy this traditional grain baked up in a sourdough or fruit loaf, make your own rye pasta or cookies – a delicious perennial favourite.

Fresh and good. I find that if I substitute a portion of the flour with Eureka Crushed Rye Flour (which is very course), breads are not as dense, meaning a better result.

Very fine. Like cake flour. I use it combined with other flours. I'll buy again, but mostly because it is difficult to find rye flour where I live. Would like if it was a bit coarser. Still tastes good and gives me amazing bread. I specifically bake a Norwegian wholemeal bread with this flour

Because it has less gluten than wheat, it's difficult to work. I'm still learning how to make Rye only baked gods but it's going well. I like the extra flavour it adds. It's also great for starting a sourdough starter because of the higher nutrition value.

I'm not a huge fan of this as I find it can be a bit on the sourish rye side. But it can make a good bread, especially if mixed with the wheat flour (if you able to eat that).

Sometimes I find flours in the supermarket to be old and not well responding during baking. Never the flours from this brand. Moreover, rye flour is difficult to find. Rye is so easy to replace in your bread recipe's and I even use it too make cookies. Fills you up for a long time and tastes so sweet and hearty!
