Directions:

• Collect the water test sample in a clean vial, cup or container.
• Immerse a test strip in the desired water sample and remove it at exactly 2 seconds.
• Blot the side of the test strip on absorbent tissue (e.g. toilet paper) to get rid of any excess water. This will prevent colour bleeding between the pads.
• After exactly 30 seconds, compare the test strip to the colour chart on the bottle.
• For best results, read in natural daylight.
• Changes that appear along the edges of the test pads or changes in colour after 1.5 minutes (90 seconds) are insignificant.

Please Note:

• Wash hands before and after collection.
• All cuts and abrasions on your hands must be covered with waterproof dressing.
• Ensure the container you are using for collection is washed and clean but does not have any soap residue left.
• Always take precautions when handling any body fluids and immediately clean and disinfect any spillage.
