Desha
Desha is your local stockist for everything you need to support and sustain your yoga and meditation practice. 'Desha' is the Sanskrit word for ‘space’ or ‘place’. Often used to describe the quiet inner space cultivated through mindfulness and meditation. Take it to refer to the internal spaciousness that yoga props (straps, blocks, bolsters etc.) help you find in your yoga practice. Naomi Marshak, owner and founder of Desha as well as 500HR accredited yoga teacher, believes that the use of props can facilitate deeper pose awareness and help build the necessary strength and openness for a safe and effective yoga practice. The design of each prop is based on years of research and experience of using and teaching with yoga props. Desha yoga props are designed with comfort, sustainability and locality in mind.
