Canettevallei is a small wine and lavender farm tucked away in Stellenboschkloof. This quiet stretch of land is home to one of South Africa's last few remaining Kaapse Moskonfyt preserveries and to 3 exquisitely purple hectares of lavender field. Their lavender hybrid ”lavandin abrialis” (angustifolia x latifolia) is especially sweet and is suitable even for cooking.
