Stash Tea has been operating out of Portland, USA since 1972, when they started supplying loose and bulk herbal teas to natural food stores and they’ve become something of an instituition. Their name has a poetic story: in times gone by when tea was a sought after valuable commodity, the ships captains who transported it were given their own personal ‘stash’ of tea as a perk – in those times not too shabby as tea was considered a precious thing.
