I use olive oil in a huge variety of foods, and lately it felt like my cooking was "off." My roasted potatoes and veggies, my stir fried greens, and several other items I made tasted vaguely soapy. I finally realized olive oil was the common denominator of my bad batches and tested my theory by trying some of the plain olive oil. Sure enough, it had a strange soapy taste to it.
