A pleasant surprise!

I was initially a bit sceptical to try out this product, since Ive tried some awful-tasting natural protein powders in the past...! But I was so pleasantly surprised: A tablespoon full mixed into a smoothie or sprinkled over my morning muesli doesn interfere with the taste at all - plus it really makes the smoothie/breakfast stick to the ribs! Im definitely ordering again.
Plant of the future :)

Hemp is really such an amazing plant, its so versatile and can be grown without pesticides or much care at all. :)
The powder is great in smoothies, oats and cooked veggies - it has a lovely nutty flavour and is extremely filling.
Not for me.

It tastes horrible. Like dried grass. Unless you have some powerful smoothie ingredients to mask it (minimalism - aka banana, water or plant milk and protein powder - doesn do it). My brother mixed it with his protein shake, though, for body building, and experienced a remarkable boost in energy. Not buying this again.
Hemp Protein Powder

The nutty flavour does not dominate the foodstuff UNLESS the hand is a little heavy, which is a real problem, it is such a nice flavour.
Blends beautifully with mashed potatoes, morning cereal, fruit juice and more.
The physiological benefits have not manifested themselves - yet. ;-))

For those who are new to the idea of hemp protein and are looking for some information on it, I will provide my thoughts for you :)
I was a avid user of the shelf product... USN, SSN and Muscle Works Whey protein, which to be honest is all a load of nonsense. In search for a healthier more balanced and accurate protein source I decided to go organic - I can always add my own glutamine and flavour to my specs to suit my routine. Being sensitive to dairy, only figuring this out recently, I decided to try out Hemp Protein.
Taste: I was shocked at the taste, from sweet whey to earthy hemp... it was a major difference on the buds. Im a whimp when it comes to foul tasting things. I loaded my shake with sugar free peanut butter, cocoa powder and on the odd occasion some honey to help it go down! A mission and mess, but it works. Others use bananas, yoghurts and berries, imagine the goodness.
Texture: Hemp has a very gritty texture which results in a lot of it sinking to the bottom of your shake. There are ingredients and methods to help this a bit. I got used to the texture and enjoyed it because its supposedly good for cleansing your intestines and colon.
Price Value: Its pricey but manageable. I didn notice a huge difference when taking it. I gym 5 times a week, keep fit, try cut out sugar as much as possible and avoid wheat/gluten. I didn lose any weight or muscle but
Great energy booster

Hemp is absolutely great. I mix it in with my oats, smoothies and even cook with it. Hemp helps with my energy levels. It is great as a muscle builder and is great after a workout :)
Good quality and very fine.

Good quality and very fine. Does have quite a unique taste. A little bitter but easy enough to mix with other smoothie ingredients. But the difference to my energy levels has been well worth acquiring the taste.
