These handy liners protect the nappy from becoming heavily soiled. They help to act as a 2-way barrier between the baby's skin and the wet nappy. Urine passes through but the solids are held by the liner. This can then be flushed in the toilet. (It is safe to flush into septic tanks.)

The full biodegrading process takes approximately 30 days. There are instructions on the pack to prevent blockages in older drainage systems.

The liner is composed of mostly wood pulp and a binder (ethylene vinyiacetate).
