FACT: If you think our oceans are clean, that’s rubbish. Many of them are toxic dumping grounds for heavy metals and environmental waste. If the fish are exposed to this chemical soup, then so are the fish oils they yield. No wonder a 2004 report by the United States Pharmacopoeia found that some fish oil supplements are purer than others.
HOW DOES THE REAL THING KEEP IT REAL?
Mega Omega fish oil is mega-safe because it’s mega-pure.- First it’s molecularly distilled to remove impurities, pollutants and toxins.
- It’s also produced in a GMP and HACCP compliant facility, meaning the manufacturing meets Good Manufacturing Practice and Hazard Control and Critical Analysis standards.
- Plus it’s certified pharmaceutical-grade, meaning it’s produced under the meticulous EU standards governing production of prescription medication.
Directions
Take 1 to 1,5 teaspoons (5 ml – 7.5 ml) daily with food or consult your healthcare practitioner.
If you don’t like the taste, we’ve tried the following:
A spoonful of fish oil doesn’t have to go down like medicine. Try these easy recipes.- Drizzle it. Add balsamic vinegar and a teaspoon of Mega Omega oil (lemon or natural) over a salad of your choice with crushed rock salt and mixed herbs. Great with tuna, seafood or roasted veg salad.
- Mix it. Stir a dose of lemon or natural Mega Omega oil into a serving of any stir-fry, pasta or seafood dish – after the cooking process if the meal is hot.

10/11/2023, By NettieVery thankful to have found this high concentration fish oil for my son. I give very little and it seems to be working well. He does not mind the taste foe which I am thankful.30/01/2023, By GoshLove the oil. Doesnt have the slightest fishy taste/smell. This oil was recommended by a friend's Dr to assist in brain health13/11/2022, By KaylaLove this Omega oil and the balance of DHA vs EPA. There's no getting around the fishy taste but the lemon flavour does help a bit. My toddler takes it easily.25/08/2020, By TracyPerhaps I have a sensitive palate but I really don't like the flavour. Nor does hubby. The lemon does a poor job of masking the highly fishy taste for me. Having said that, my 5 year old prefers the liquid to swallowing pills or even to the flavoured chews I've tried. She doesn't like it, but given the choice she will choose this over the others.31/10/2019, By TashGreat product. This product has improved my skin and my gut health.16/04/2019, By NatalieI bought this for my kids, it took a little while getting used to but my toddler has adjusted to the strong taste quicker than her older sibling. The lemon doesn’t mask the fishy taste but makes it slightly palatable. I’ve tasted it and personally would rather swallow a capsule but the girls are good with it with a little orange juice on the side. I have recommended this product to my cousin who is very happy with it great quality and value.25/03/2019, By SwiggyI love it, and it's one of my favorites. Once I ordered the unflavored fishy tasting one and it was awful. The lemon tasting one is so much easier to take.22/03/2019, By CATHI have tried many fish oil supplements, and this one is by far the best. For me anyway. The natural lemon flavour masks the fishy taste, there is no aftertaste and I also have noticed a definite improvement in my joint health.24/09/2018, By MoeIt helped to regulate my father's Homocysteine levels.23/05/2017, By SwiggyI have been taking “The Real Thing Mega Omega Fish Oil Liquid - Lemon” for a few months now. The taste is truly not fishy. I store it in the door of my fridge at eye level, where I see it easily, not to be missed. The arthritic pains in my fingers have disappeared.13/09/2016, By CharmaineKids love it! The slight lemon taste is also really lovely.
