If you do leave it in, avoid the roots and don't expect super silky hair if you have wavy, frizzy hair. It will improve the texture if you air-dry in a protective style but this is not great for heat-styled hair. I comb my hair in the shower and I have to use waaay too much of this to get the comb through after the (amazing but drying) matching shampoo.
Read a review on another site that suggested using it as a leave-in and rinsing the next morning. Weirdly, that just made my hair greasy.
