Directions:
- Tear off a single bag from the roll along the perforation and open the bag.
- Place the bag in the trash can. Dispose of your trash, making sure not to overfill it.
- Tie the drawstrings together in a knot to keep the bag closed.
- Dispose of the bag and biodegradable contents in your home compost system.
- Dispose of conventional trash in the regular trash can.
Tip:
- Separate recyclables: If the contents of the biodegradable trash bag are recyclable, remove them from the bag and dispose of them in the appropriate recycling bin. This will prevent any contamination of the recycling stream.
- Compost the bag: If you have a compost bin, you can dispose of the biodegradable trash bag along with other organic waste.
- Landfill: If you don't have a compost bin, dispose of the biodegradable trash bag in a landfill. While biodegradable bags are designed to break down over time, they may take longer to degrade in a landfill than in a compost bin.
