Directions:
- Wash hair as normal and rinse thoroughly
- Instead of conditioner, Pure Simple recommends a vinegar rinse to restore natural pH balance to hair, and scalp
- Use 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of water (Use 2 tablespoons, in 2 cups of water for very long hair)
- Rinse finally with water to remove the vinegar rinse
- Dry, and style as normal
Vinegar rinse tips:
- Apple cider vinegar is a good all round choice, suitable for all hair types
- Dark, grape vinegar is excellent for darker, brunette hair
- Lemon juice is a recommended alternative to vinegar for fair blonde hair
Caution:
- When using soap based shampoos – it is a soap and soap stings if it gets in your eyes

Works a little too well... could be a fantastic shampoo bar if it was more conditioning because it ticks all the other boxes wrt ingredients, value for money and fragrance. Have only used it once and haven't given up on it yet... next time will use it VERY sparingly just on my scalp and not the rest of my hair. One patch has gone and the other is much smaller and not itchy. So I'm really pleased about that. However, it does have a strange effect on the hair. I have been rinsing with apple cider vinegar and I would recommend that anyone purchasing the shampoo bar should use the ACV rinse. I would not recommend for dry hair, as I'm sure it will dry out your scalp too much. My hair is incredibly oily, I generally have to wash it everyday. With this soap I only need to every 3rd day.

Adds volume and a slight coarseness to my once too soft, thin, flyaway hair, without making it look coarse and it maintains that natural shine.
