I've tried both the lentil penne (repeatedly) and the chickpea penne (once), as well as the fusilli versions of both, and while I would give their fusilli variants five stars, the penne more often than not has disappointed. It usually falls apart even when you stick carefully to cooking times/test for doneness, and doesn't seem to be able to hold as much flavour when mixed with a sauce.
