I live very remote and the sewerage system layout is not that great and so very often my normal flush toilets smells very much like a pit toilets or french drain, which to say the least is not pleasant. I have tried various things and also various air fresheners to try and make the bathrooms slightly more pleasant places. This product has sorted this out totally - In the morning I put some of this into the toilet bowl and leave it to stand for the day and although my bathroom smells a little like a dentists room (very much like cloves), its better than it smelling like a long drop! It seems to have dealt with whatever bacteria was making the bad smell. I use a sponge however, I don wipe it off like it says and I find it works better with water and a sponge.
