Thermophilic cheese culture is what you need if you’re practising a living tradition of making your very own hard cheeses such as Italian & Swiss cheeses (Parmesan, Romano, Provolone, Emmental/Swiss). Thermophilic means ‘heat-loving’ so these cultures activate at hotter temperatures. This culture is suitable for more experienced cheese makers who know what they’re doing as instructions are not included, but you can also be adventurous if you have some guidance available!
