Did you know? Kuzu starch is the primary ingredient in a chilled, jelly-like dessert called kuzumochi. Kuzumochi is similar in texture, and sweetness to Turkish Delight. In the late 19th century, kuzu was brought from Japan into the United States to grow as a forage food for livestock, but has since grown rapidly out of control and is considered to be a highly invasive specie despite almost the entire plant body (excepting the stems) being highly nutritious, and delicious.
