These organic powdered soap nuts are so easy to use, and provide a great all-in-one alternative to commercial detergents.
The soap nut is actually a type of berry, harvested from Sapindus trees. These berries are full of a natural cleaning agent called saponin, which acts like soap and has been used as a natural detergent for centuries in Asian countries. Soap nuts are also a traditional Ayurvedic treatment for dandruff and dry scalps, psoriasis and eczema.
- Laundry: 1 teaspoon (5ml) of T-Soap will do the same work as 1 cup of commercial detergent, so with 250ml of this powder you have enough for 50 regular washing machine loads!
- Hot wash: Use 1 tsp of T-Soap in your front loader or top loader as normal.
- Cold wash: Place 1 tsp of T-Soap in a teacup, fill with boiling water, allow to steep (just like making tea!) and then pour into your washing machine while the water is filling up.
Tip: The eco-friendly, antimicrobial greywater from your wash is safe for your garden and septic tank.
- Add 1 tsp of T-Soap to 1 litre of water, bring to the boil, stir and then allow to cool completely.
- Pour the liquid through a strainer and decant it into a spray bottle.
- Add 1 cup of T-Soap liquid mixture to a blender until it makes a foam. Use as a shampoo or body wash.
- Spray T-Soap liquid mixture onto your skin or plants; for added pest protection, add 2 or 3 drops of citronella essential oil to the mix.

21 out of 22 people would recommend this product22/06/2018, By NishiaI have been using this product for a couple of months now and I could not be happier. My clothes smell nice after and the soap nuts clean my clothes properly and without hassle.21/02/2018, By HilaryThis product I am still deciding on. I ordered two packets, one was very soft and powdery the other had hard lumps and I had to crush the lumps before disolving in hot water. Bedding came out clean and fresh though. I have not used it with clothes as yet, but will carry on trying it.15/01/2018, By CharissaThis was my first time using this product. It does not clean my boys dirtier clothes and does not remove stains, but after using the orange degreaser together with it, it worked pretty well. I love that the clothes feel soft and fresh even without using fabric softener.05/01/2018, By LizPros:
All you need is 1 teaspoon for a full load of washing
Works just as well as regular detergent
The garden plants are thriving from the t-soap grey water
It needs to steep for a few min in boiling water
It's a good idea to strain the mixture because if you don't the residue ends up on your clothes28/12/2017, By MichThis is the best of the natural washing powders I have tried. The only thing I don't like is that you first have to steep it in boiling water. But it is very economical and the clothes come out clean. It is great for my daughter also. She has excema and so we can't use regular washing powders.24/11/2017, By JuliaI have hypo allergic skin and this washing powder is fantastic and friendly to the environment as well !16/11/2017, By JaclynI use a tea-strainer before pouring the mixture into my washing machine. I also do not like having to dilute in boiled water first.28/09/2017, By moiraTook a chance with this as all the "natural" laundry detergents I have tried before were very disappointing.
