****Ingredient Notice: Sodium benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food, so why do we allow it in some of our cosmetics and cleaning products? Firstly, the amount of sodium benzoate used in cosmetics or cleaning products is much smaller than that used in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the sodium benzoate molecules are too large to be absorbed by your skin. This preservative has been allowed by ECOCERT, the Soil Association and BDIH; it has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. However, there are reports circulating online that warn against usage of sodium benzoate even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to fully informed and empowered. The choice is yours to make.
4 out of 8 people would recommend this product26/07/2017, By AishaAt first I really liked this conditioner because its loaded with good stuff. My hair really did look nice. But after a while I notice that my hair is starting to look painfully limp and dull and I have to continuously wash it. I'm also forced to clarify my hair once a week from the buildup and it feels awful and oily when I wash out this stuff almost as though its coating the hair shaft. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong but I wish I had just stuck to Victorian Garden.02/06/2017, By PhoebeThe best conditioner that I've tried on this this site thus far. I use it in conjunction with the triphala shampoo. My hair looked awfully greasy and heavy the first time I used it with the shampoo as the shampoo didn't lather enough and the conditioner was too rich and I immediately regretted buying it. However after a few washes my hair adjusted to both products and my hair became less greasy and more glossy and bouncy and incredibly healthy looking. I also have less hairfall. My only gripe is that the sizes are too small so would love if they came in bigger packs. Plus it also helped to detangle my afro kinky hair.02/12/2015, By LorraineI used the conditioner for the first time yesterday morning (Tuesday)and I love. I long fine hair that tangles easy and struggle with oily hair which builds up during the day and with menopause on the go at night I have to wash my hair everyday. This morning (Wednesday) my hairs was still gorgeous and not oily, definitely going to be a fixture on my shopping list. I used the conditioner in conjunction with the Naturalement Rose shampoo. Very excited about the product.15/04/2015, By JodiThe scent of the shakakai is quite prominent, although it does disappear after a few hours. Unfortunately my hair wasn thrilled with the conditioner either. It failed to de-tangle, and left my hair dull and lifeless.30/03/2015, By AyumiThis treatment gives my hair really soft and smooth. Divine!! But honestly I do not like its smell, it is herbal medicine scent. I know it is a kind of ayurvedic item, cannot get rid of it. The treatment is my rescue product.24/03/2015, By moiraI have being using this conditioner and the shampoo for a couple of weeks now. I have always used organic or homemade products so did not think I would need a ransition period, but maybe I do! This leaves my hair feeling dry, brittle and very knotted when it is wet. HOWEVER, once my hair dries it is much softer and silky!! Very strange. Unfortunately, it is while my hair is wet that I need to comb it before drying, I end up pulling half my hair out trying to get a comb through. I will keep using but will add some olive oil to the mixture.23/03/2015, By KateNot too fond of the lingering smell
