****Ingredient Notice: Sodium benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food, so why do we allow it in some of our cosmetics and cleaning products? Firstly, the amount of sodium benzoate used in cosmetics or cleaning products is much smaller than that used in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the sodium benzoate molecules are too large to be absorbed by your skin. This preservative has been allowed by ECOCERT, the Soil Association and BDIH; it has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. However, there are reports circulating online that warn against usage of sodium benzoate even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to fully informed and empowered. The choice is yours to make.
2 out of 3 people would recommend this product20/06/2017, By LeaI've been looking forward to using this product for such a long time - but I find no matter how many times I rinse and repeat, my hair is not "cleaned" properly. In fact, the shampoo itself seems to have an oily residue because your hair tends to take on that look you get after using an oil mask and not washing it out properly. However, I decided to try the shampoo as a "pre-treatment" before shampooing with something else; and I let it sit for a few minutes before washing out. THAT makes a big difference - the fact is the ingredients used in this shampoo are just so great for hair. It's just not a great "cleaner".09/11/2015, By RobertoI have tried so many expensive organic brands of shampoo but none of them did it for me. This shampoo is amazing! It reduces hair loss and helps a bit with hair growth but not so great for dandruff. Anyway, when you feel that itch on your scalp, that sometimes could be a good sign because thats what promotes new hair growth. I have been looking for years for the best shampoo and it doesn get better than this!04/08/2015, By AneesaStrangely I found the Triphala variant for oily and normal hair more moisturising than this one. This shampoo does not last long and makes my sensitive scalp itch a bit. It also took some of the curl out of my hair.
