The Snappy Chef Stove works with an electro magnet that sends heat directly into the cookware and not into the top of the stove plate. This heats up the cookware immediately, and also switches off the moment the cookware is removed. There’s no chance for little hands to get burnt on the stove, and also minimal use of energy to cook your meals.
This seemingly magical stove works with a copper coil fitted beneath the surface of the stove. When the electric current is sent through the coil, a magnetic field is created that powers the stove. Using magnetically conductive pots or pans such as cast iron and stainless steel will cook your food in no time with the Snappy Chef 1 Plate Induction Stove.
NB: Not all stainless steel cookware will be suitable for use on the Snappy Chef stove. To test whether a pot or pan is suitable, simply test for magnetic conductivity. If you can get a fridge magnet to stick to the bottom of the pot/ pan, it is magnetically conductive and can be used on your Snappy Chef stove.

I like cooking and have always insisted that gas is the best to cook with due to it being so responsive to any temperature settings. I was to be corrected. Cooking on an induction stove feels like a luxury, it could not be faster to warm up, it is always cool to the touch and only heats the pots. It is quicker to boil water now on this stove than in the water kettle! Cooking has changed so much since getting it - I can even explain the difference. Now, if we have to cook on the built in stove because we need more than one stove plate, there is a lot of sighing and glares at the old stove! Induction heats up pots and pans so incredibly fast and evenly - its a dream!
The ultimate plus is noticing the electricity bill going down since getting it.
