About grapefruit oil:
Grapefruit essential oil has a high limonene content, making it a potent natural antioxidant. The oil also has antibacterial properties, and a fresh, uplifting citrus scent.
A note about caustic soda:
Caustic soda, also known as lye or sodium hydroxide, is used to turn the olive oil into bar soap; the caustic soda is fully neutralised 72 hours after blending, leaving a pure, mild and safe natural bar soap. All Pure Simple castile soaps are cured for a minimum of 8 - 12 weeks before being sold.

3 out of 3 people would recommend this product09/06/2017, By RuzanneIt has a beautiful scent! Absolutely love the smoothness and soothing effect it has, and it being natural is a huge plus! It has an incredible effect on my skin, not leaving it dry and itchy.01/05/2017, By No MuckI absolutely love this scent!! It is my favorite in the Pure Simple line. I found that this soap is a bit gentler than the Grapefruit Salt Soap in the same line but it will melt a bit easier so it is important to keep dry in between uses. It doesn't melt as much as other natural brands I've tried though. I really love these soaps!13/03/2016, By LiezelIts hard to say which of the Pure Simple soaps is my favourite, but this one I always return to. A gorgeous scented way to perk up your day- invigorating and not too sweet-smelling so great for both men and women.
