Mary Washington Asparagus

Nothing tastes like home-grown asparagus. It’s a long-term crop you can expect a 15 year+ harvest from if you prepare the bed well. A real worthwhile investment. Work on 10 plants per asparagus eater in your home.

Growing Season: August to December

Sunflower Nigerian Oilseed

Livingseeds are really super proud of this one! They worked on it for years to bring you the perfect plant for harvesting sunflower seeds you can press your own 100% pure virgin sunflower oil from – no benzene, colourants or other petrochemicals.

These are truly massive sunflowers with heads that can be up to 43cm across. The plants get to 3 meters+ and are a real talking point in the garden. The seeds are huge too and are great for shelling and eating or pressing into a stunning clear oil. The seed is so oily in fact that you can press oil out of a single seed with two spoons!

Growing Season: September to January

Seeds: 50

Clemson Spineless Okra
